This BMW E10 2002 (02') Street Short Shifter Kit is our newest design for the beloved BMW 2002. AKG Motorsport has been perfecting shifters for the classic BMW 2002 models for over three decades - in fact we developed the first ever BMW short shift kit for the 2002! 

This shifter is a performance short shifter suitable for either street or track, which replaces the OEM bracket, lever and selector rod. It utilizes an optional M Roadster shift lever (#25-11-7-527-254) to shorten the shifting throw. The kit can be purchased with the lever, or you can source your own. Our 2002 short shifter kit includes a new heavy-duty shifter bracket, AKG double shear selector rod (DSSR) with trans joint, circlip and pin along with a shifter cup bushing. A shift knob is not included.
