All new AKG Motorsport products are warranted against manufacturing defects as long as the part is in the car in which it was originally, professionally and properly installed.
If you receive a part which you believe is defective, please contact us immediately via phone or email. Defective merchandise must be returned to us for inspection and testing. If we determine the part is defective, we will (at our discretion) replace the part with the same or similar part, repair the part, or issue a refund for the original cost of the part only. We can not accept responsibility for any inconvenience or losses occasioned by their use, and this warranty does not cover any direct or indirect costs, such as labor or damages, arising from the use of our parts.
We recommend installation of all our parts by a highly-qualified, licensed BMW specialist. Do-It-Yourself installations are not recommended. Warranty is void if parts become defective due to faulty installation, or if the part has been abused in any way (at the sole discretion of AKG Motorsport).
Limitation of Liability and Indemnity
Customer assumes all liability and risk arising from the use or installation of AKG parts. Many items are manufactured and sold specifically for off-road competition use only, and are not approved for street use by the manufacturer or DOT. No warranty is expressed or implied for any parts used for competition, track driving, or driver education events.
It is the sole responsibility of the Customer to determine that the use of his vehicle and items purchased comply with all Federal, state and local regulations. AKG Motorsport shall not be liable for any damages to any person or property arising out of, or in connection with, the use or installation of any parts that it sells. Customer agrees to indemnify AKG from any and all claims (including legal fees) arising out of, or in connection with, the use or installation of part(s) purchased from AKG or its dealers.
By purchasing products from AKG Motorsport or its dealers, customer acknowledges and accepts this Limitation of Liability and agrees to the full warranty terms.
