Our BMW E30 (M20) aluminum motor and trans mounts work together to eliminate all engine and transmission movement for effective power transfer through the drivetrain. The stock rubber motor and trans mounts deflect as torque moves through the drivetrain, allowing the engine and transmission to move. Designed for racing, our straight bolt-through solid aluminum mounts are engineered to be both strong and lightweight. Eliminate drivetrain movement with our BMW E30 (M20) aluminum motor and trans mount set.
Although our solid aluminum engine and transmission mounts are the hardest available and have a longer life span than other mounts, they are also extremely harsh and unforgiving on the chassis. Cracks may occur around the mount. Any area using aluminum mounts should be reinforced and consistently checked before/after races.
