These BMW 2002 Polyurethane (60A) Motor Mounts hold the engine in place for improved power transfer through the drivetrain. Designed for 2002’s with high-performance racing engines or S14 swaps. They feature our innovative, registered interlocking system – making them much stiffer than a normal medium-durometer mount without compromising comfort. Our exclusive, built-in stops prevent horizontal and vertical engine movement, and are the only true aftermarket isolating engine mounts available.
AKG Group-N polyurethane performance mounts are a track/race compound mount. They are specifically designed for those who want racing mounts that are not harsh on the chassis and also provide for a relatively comfortable ride. Our interlocking medium-durometer compound is hard, yet slightly pliable – with elasticity and memory. This exclusive compound allows us to manufacture a mount with high performance characteristics that is free from the deformation which plastic mounts (Delrin, UHMW) are very prone to. Remember: proper heat-shielding is required on the exhaust side motor mount. For dedicated track cars, we recommend pairing with our poly 75D trans mount. For high-performance street cars, pair with our performance trans mount.
