Pictures one and two show the engine fitted with a ’91 e34 525 oil pan. The e36 power steering reservoir stays in original e36 mounting, on left motor mount.
The third picture shows the engine with exhaust installed. In this case, I made a 6:1 exhaust header for it. The original exhaust manifold with downpipes will fit with modification to one of the downpipes for clearance.
Picture four shows the engine and transmission assembled and ready to install. The motor as shown in the picture will clear when dropped in the car from the top by an engine crane.
