The following two pictures show the finished product. As seen in the first picture,I chose the quick way out for air filter: mounted directly into the e36 HFM. I was anxious to take it out for a test drive, and it was really a blast! In this car, I used a late 325 5-speed with a 1 to1 5th gear and a 2.93:1 differential. In my case (being over 50 years old at the time), I liked quiet cruising speeds!
